The object of bowls is simple. It is played on grass outdoors -lawn bowls or on a carpet indoors. The playing area is usually divided into lanes or rinks and Bowlers take turns to bowl and try to get the bowl near the small white bowl which is a jack. If you get nearer the jack than the opposition, then one point is scored for each bowl nearest to the jack. Lawn Bowls have a bias which means the bowl will travel in a curve, so a bit of adjustment must be taken into consideration. This makes it fun. Games are played in singles, doubles, triples and fours. Try out a set of bowls in our Bowling lane. This will give you a feel for the bowl before you buy.
